To realize ejected gas control in which control of reflecting changes or the like of ship speed over time without causing adverse effect in a main engine, that is, to realize an ejected gas supply method or the like of a ship which prevents the amount of supply air from running short, efficiency of a main engine from becoming reduced, exhaust gas from deteriorating or becoming an excessive amount, or the like, by taking out too much gas.
There is provided an ejected gas supply method of a ship which comprises: a main engine 10 from which propulsion power of a ship 1 is obtained; and a supercharger 11 which is driven by exhaust gas from the main engine 10 and sends pressurized gas to the main engine 10. The method is configured that a part of pressurized gas and/or exhaust gas is taken out while bypassing from between the supercharger 11 and the main engine 10, the taken-out pressurized gas and/or exhaust gas is ejected to an area in the vicinity 9 of a hull under the water line, and a takeout amount of the pressurized gas and/or the exhaust gas through bypass is controlled by adjustment of adjusting means such that the total efficiency of the supercharger 11 becomes predetermined efficiency or more.
