Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the subject device designed to quickly and properly perform float weft ejections not manually but by mechanizing the operation for raising pile warps.
CONSTITUTION: The float weft ends of a woven fabric A being in conveyance are made parallel with one another using a rotary brush 15 and made to float with a relevant bar 12 to catch the ends of the float wefts C by a catch pin 11, and these ends are then guided to a pair of ejection rolls 3, 4 and ejected through the sliding frictional force of these rolls to the other ends; the float wefts C are recovered by the vacuum suction force of a suction pipe 5 above the rolls 3, 4 via the slit 17 of the pipe 5 and pile warps F are then raised automatically and rapidly. On the other ends of the float wefts, the float wefts C are pressed by a cutter 7 to ensure the pile warps to be raised and these wefts are forcedly moved outside the cutter 7 by a yarn cutting auxiliary bar 8 and cut assuredly.
