To provide an EL light-emitting device capable of arbitrarily setting a light-emitting display pattern according to a user's preference and application or the like.
The EL light-emitting device is provided with: a first sheet 1 of a structure, integrated by lamination of a conductor layer 4 and a dielectric layer 5; and a second sheet 2 integrated by lamination of a phosphor layer 9 and a transparent conductive layer 11. The second sheet is punched into a desired shape of desired light emission and is arranged on a surface on a dielectric layer 5 side of the first sheet 1 with the phosphor layer underneath. When an alternating current is applied between both electrodes 7, 8 of the conductor layer 4, the second sheet 2 emits light in a light-emitting color of each of the phosphors in each of the patterns.
