To provide an elastic body unit which is excellent in fixing force for fixation when a thermoplastic elastomer member is fixed to a sheet-like member, and does not have restrictions in the size, the shape and heat resistance of the sheet-like member, and to provide a manufacturing method for the elastic body unit.

An elastic body unit 1 includes a low hardness thermoplastic elastomer resin member 8 having elasticity, and a stainless steel mesh 9. The low hardness thermoplastic elastomer resin member 8 includes a protruding section 13 brought into contact with the contact surface 11 of the stainless steel mesh 9, filled into a plurality of through holes 9a, and protruding to the opposite surface 12 of the stainless steel mesh 9. The protruding section 13 of the low hardness thermoplastic elastomer resin member 8 is brought into contact with a hot plate 10, and the adjacent through holes and at least two adjacent protruding sections are connected to each other. Further a method for manufacturing the elastic body unit 1 is provided.
