Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily form a arbitrarily undulating surface with a simple construction by crossing plural cylindrical elastic bodies to constitute a grid-shaped mesh and deforming pressure chambers so that the mesh forms the prescribed undulating surface shape.
CONSTITUTION: The elastic deforing mesh is formed by vertically and horizontally disposing the cylindrical elastic bodies 2 to a grid shape which is square over the entire part. The plural pressure chambers 6 are extended in the respective cylindrical elastic bodies 2. Partition walls 7 segmenting the pressure chambers 6 in a longitudinal direction and partition walls 8 segmenting the pressure chambers 6 in a sectional direction are formed within these pressure chambers. Only the flanks elongate axially and the cylindrical elastic bodies 2 are curved in the direction A when the internal pressure of the pressure chambers 15 is increased. The cylindrical elastic bodies can be curved in the direction B when the pressure in the pressure chambers 14 is increased. As a result, the prescribed undulating surface shape is easily formed on the mat surface, etc., with the simple equipment.
