Abstract:
To provide an elastic mechanism which is configured simple and has a symmetric elasticity property in bidirectional rotation of reduced energy loss.SOLUTION: An elastic mechanism 1 comprises: an outer frame member 2 including a hollow part 21 inside; a rotary member 3 which is provided in the hollow part 21 and relatively rotatable in a bidirectional manner around a rotation axis 31 with respect to the outer frame member 2; and an elastic body 4 which is held between an inner peripheral wall 22 of the hollow part 21 and an outer peripheral wall 32 of the rotary member 3. In response to rotational displacement of the rotary member 3 from a rotationally neutral position with respect to the outer frame member 2, the elastic member 4 is rolled in a rotation direction of the rotary member 3 and compressed from the inner peripheral wall 22 and the outer peripheral wall 32. The inner peripheral wall 22 and the outer peripheral wall 32 are configured to gradually narrow a clearance therebetween as a rotational displacement θ becomes greater, while keeping directions of forces to act mutually via the elastic body 4 are vertical regardless of the rotational displacement θ, and the elastic mechanism has a symmetric elasticity property in the bidirectional rotation of the rotary member 3 from the rotationally neutral position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
