Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely insert an elastic tube without any thrust back from an inner core part by arranging a tube pressing jaw, which is inserted into a peephole of a ring so as to protrude its own tip through the peephole, in a ring pressing mechanism fitting the ring and the elastic tube into the inner core part.
SOLUTION: A ring 6 and a tip of a plastic tube P are inserted and fitted into the outer circumference of the tip part of an inner core part 8 of a joint main body 2. Then, a U-shaped plate 26 of a plastic tube connecting tool 2 is inserted from the lower side of the joint main body 4 so as to be engaged with a flange part 10, so that the plastic tube connecting tool 2 is fixed to the joint main body 4. A movable lever 34 is operated so as to move a ring pressing mechanism 24 forward. When tube pressing jaws 46', 46" reach the position in which they are matched with peepholes 14', 14" in the ring 6, a clamp opening/closing lever is gripped, so that an upper clamp part 42 and a lower clamp part 44 are closed together.
