Title:
ELASTIC WAVE MOTOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPH0236775
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To alleviate thermal influence at the time of soldering by providing A-phase and B-phase electrodes at parts between the phases of a ringlike elastic material having A and B phases.

CONSTITUTION: An elastic wave motor has a part 30 in which its piezoelectric element is not polarized at a section 1a of 3/4λ of an elastic material 1, an electrode 6AA formed by integrally extending from a A-phase electrode 6A on the part 30 and an electrode 6BB formed by integrally extending from a B-phase electrode 6B. Leads 7A, 7B are connected by solders 8A, 8B to the extended electrodes 6AA, 6BB. A ground electrode 9 is provided on the face opposite to that provided with the electrodes 6AA, 6BB of the part 30, and ground electrodes 91-910 are provided on the face opposite to that provided with the electrodes 6A, 6B of piezoelectric elements 31-310 in response to the polarized parts. Thus, even if the leads 7A, 7B are soldered at the part 30, thermal adverse influence to the polarized elements 31-310 is eliminated.
