Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elastic wave propagation velocity measuring and operating method of a solid capable of acquiring a highly-reliable and highly-accurate test result easily and rationally, and a nondestructive compressive strength testing device using the method.
SOLUTION: The maximum gradients Φm1, Φm2 of first and second voltage waveforms 31, 32 on rising point peripheries A1, A2 of an elastic wave PS detected respectively with first and second sensors S1, S2 installed on the solid at a prescribed distance are acquired. Gradient values calculated by multiplying the maximum gradients by a prescribed ratio are used as gradient values at rising points H1, H2 of the elastic wave PS, and the rising points H1, H2 of the elastic wave PS are extracted. The times Th1, Th2 when the elastic wave PS is detected by each sensor S1, S2 are extracted and the time difference ΔT is calculated based on the rising points H1, H2, and the propagation velocity V of the elastic wave PS is calculated based on the time difference ΔT and the distance L between each of the sensors S1, S2, and the compression intensity F of the solid is operated based on the propagation velocity V.
