Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an election voting system which efficiently performs voting and vote counting operation.
SOLUTION: The election voting system comprises a temporary voting paper reader 10 which reads temporary voting paper information as information that temporary voting paper having voter identification information and election candidate name information shows and prints the election candidate name on voting paper and a voting paper reader 20 which reads the election candidate name when the voting paper having the election candidate name printed is obtained from a voter, discriminates and stores sheets of voting paper by election candidates, and totals votes. Consequently, the matching time of each voter can be shortened. Further, the election candidate name is printed and a misentry into voting paper and voting paper which can not be read are eliminated, so an accurate election result which is free of an ineffective vote can be obtained. Further, the voting paper is automatically read, and discriminatingly stored, so the totaling operation can speedily and surely be completed.
