Title:
ELECTRET CONDENSER MICROPHONE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3844690
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method for obtaining an electret condenser microphone with high sensitivity and the acoustic characteristics of which is stabilized.
SOLUTION: A vibrating membrane 26 is tensed and fixed by adhering a PET film 2 tensed under a prescribed tension to a vibrating membrane support ring 28. Heat processing is applied to a vibrating membrane subassembly 14 manufactured as above at a prescribed temperature (200°C) in excess of the secondary transposition point of the PET configuring the vibrating membrane 26, and the vibrating membrane subassembly 14 is assembled to a case after that. In this case, applying the heat processing at the prescribed temperature to the vibrating membrane subassembly 14 before being assembled with the case can decrease the stiffness of the vibrating membrane 26 to enhance the microphone sensitivity. The heat processing after tensing and fixing reduces the stiffness of the vibrating membrane 26 in this way to set a tension to a high level thereby preventing occurrence of flaws in the vibrating membrane 26 in advance.
