Abstract:
To secure enhanced safety by remote control of an electric apparatus.SOLUTION: An electric apparatus 104 is installed in a house and operates in a first mode or a second mode in which more functions are restrained than in the first mode. A reception unit 503 receives an instruction to remotely control the electric apparatus 104 from a first terminal device via a controller 105 installed in the house. An operation unit 505 operates on the basis of the received instruction for remote control. A switching determination unit 504 determines whether a switching condition is met or not. The reception unit 503 receives a signal indicating that a communication path is normal, transmitted periodically by the controller 105, and the switching determination unit 504 determines whether the switching condition is met or not on the basis of the signal. The operation unit 505 switches from the first mode to the second mode when the switching condition is determined to be met, and notifies the switch to the second terminal device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
