Title:
ELECTRIC APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3645663
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transverse magnetic flux motor which can lessen the amount of electromagnetic coupling around it.
SOLUTION: This motor has a rotor shaft 12 which rotatably supports a plurality of rotor disks 14, each of which has a pair of rotor rims 16 fixed to it. Each rotor rim 16 has a line of magnets and thin-layer magnetic pole shoes which are arranged alternately with those of the facing rim and faces a series of stator cores 22 which strides over the rotor rim 16. An armature winding 24 is arranged in each stator core 22 so as to excite a stator. The directions of the armature windings 24 and the stator cores 22 or the relationship between the magnets of the facing rims 16 are set so as to lessen electromagnetic coupling, long passage magnetic flux, and torque ripple.
