Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To always properly perform the supply of ink without generating clogging in a filter in a detachable ink cartridge.
SOLUTION: A filter frame receiver 843 is fixed to the inside of the ink supply port 831 of the ink cartridge mounted on an ink jet printer in a detachable manner and a filter frame 851 movable in a center axial direction is arranged therein and a sheet like ink filter 860 is provided to the leading end opening part of the filter frame 851 under tension. Therefore, the sheet like ink filter 860 is not bent and wrinkled and pushed in an ink supply chamber from the rear surface side thereof by the circular leading end surface of an ink filter cylinder 707 on the side of an ink jet head and the leading end surface of the filter cylinder 707 is brought into contact with an ink impregnated felt 835 in a surface contact surface under pressure through the sheet like ink filter 860. The clogging of a filter and rise in dynamic pressure in a case using a columnar felt filter can be avoided and the proper supply of ink can be ensured.
