Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide an electric automobile having high energy efficiency and excellent running performance by using a fuel cell as the drive power source.
CONSTITUTION: An electric double-layer capacitor 20 is charged with the electric power from a fuel cell 10 by interposing a current output type switching regulator 30 between the cell 10 and capacitor 20 and a motor 50 for propelling an electric automobile is driven by using the electric power of the capacitor 20.
