A capacitor module 4 for supplying power to the drive motor 2 and power converter 3 in an electric automobile 1 comprises a plurality of capacitor components 11 divided into predetermined blocks wherein the capacitor components 11 are connected electrically in series or parallel through a power supply circuit breaker 13. The capacitor component 11 comprises the electrical connection circuit of one or a plurality of capacitors 12, and the power supply circuit breaker 13 comprises an abnormality detection means 15 and an electric circuit releasing means 14. The electric circuit releasing means 14 is operated based on a detection signal from the abnormality detection means 15 and interrupts or limits power supply to each capacitor component 11.
