Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery mounting-demounting device for a battery-assisted bicycle, by which a battery can be removed from a car body without using a key and the battery can be locked practically effectively. SOLUTION: A battery housing case 5 in which a battery 4 is installed at the rear section of a seat post 23, and a control lever 45 releasing an engaging hook 52 fixing the battery 4 onto the housing case 5 and a wheel locking device 100 controlling the operation of the control lever 45 while locking a wheel are mounted at the rear section of the battery 4. The battery 4 can be removed from the housing case 5 without a key when the wheel locking device 100 is not locked, the battery 4 cannot be removed from the housing case 5 when the wheel is locked when a user separates from a car body, and the easy detachable properties of the battery 4 and burglarproofness can be made to coexist.
