To provide an electric blower capable of reducing the noise of a blower and improving the efficiency of the blower and a vacuum cleaner equipped with the same.
The electric blower is provided with a partition plate 23 disposed at a back surface side of a centrifugal fan, a diffuser disposed at a front surface side of the partition plate and at an outer circumference side of the centrifugal fan, a return guide disposed at a back surface side of the partition plate, and a fan casing provided at an opening side of a housing and covering the centrifugal fan, the diffuser, and the return guide. The diffuser is provided with a plurality of diffuser blades. A through-hole 40 erecting from the partition plate 23 is formed at the diffuser blade of at least of part of the plurality of diffuser blades.
