Abstract:
To provide an electric blower which has high blowing efficiency and is stably manufactured at a low cost.
A gap G between the front shroud 42 od a fan 14 and the backside of a fan cover facing the shroud 42 is sealed to equip a ring shape seal member 47 to block a circulation flow of a part of a flow of air blown out from the fan 14 to tend to flow in a suction port 14a of the fan 14. Plural seal elements 47a-47n made of foam paper softer and easier deformable than the fan 14 are laminated in the radial direction of the seal member 47 and are used as the seal member 47. A part of the seal member 47 is cut off by the suction port edge part 42a by the initial rotation of the fan 14 and thereby the circulation flow is blocked.
