PURPOSE: To aim at lowering the noise of an electric blower by forming the impeller facing face of an air guide on an inclined surface drawn close to the impeller in the peripheral direction as well as the rear face of the air guide parallel to the above mentioned inclined surface.

CONSTITUTION: In an air guide 25 made of a resin material, its face facing an impeller 26 is formed on an inclined surface 31 drawn close to the impeller 26 in the peripheral direction as well as its rear face 32 is also formed approximately parallel to the above mentioned inclined surface. As a result, the rigidity of the air guide 25 holding a rotor 21 is heightened and the effect of weakening the transmission of vibration generated by the unbalance of the rotor 21 is obtained as well as air current from the impeller 26 flows smoothly due to the inclined rear face 32 of the air guide 25 so as to lower the passing sound of the air current, which results in promoting the decrease in the noise of an electric blower.
