In this electric blower, a through hole 35 is provided in an air guide 32 positioned at the lower part of an impeller 28, and a hole 37 for piercing the inside of a motor 34 is provided in a motor frame 36. The inside of the motor 34 and the lower space 38 of the impeller 28 communicative through these holes 35, 37. Pressure in the lower space 38 is lowered by the rotation of the impeller 28 so as to suck air from the inside of the motor 34 and to make an air current flow to the inside of the motor 34.
