Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake device which can properly maintain a lubrication state of a screw, and in which an operation of the device is smoothly performed.SOLUTION: An electric brake device comprises: "a piston for pressing a friction member to a rotating member, and having a piston internal peripheral face at an internal peripheral face"; "a shaft which is driven by an electric motor, has a shaft external peripheral face overlapping on the piston internal peripheral face in an axial direction at an external peripheral face, and has a shaft internal peripheral face at an internal peripheral face"; "a screw mechanism which converts a rotation motion of the shaft to a linear motion of the piston, and is arranged inside the shaft internal peripheral face"; "a cap slide-contacting with a piston internal peripheral face, and movable to an axial direction"; and "a storage chamber which is partitioned by the cap, one end of the screw mechanism, the piston internal peripheral face and the shaft external peripheral face, and in which a lubricant for lubricating the screw mechanism is stored". The shaft has a penetration flow passage penetrating the shaft external peripheral face and the shaft internal peripheral face in the vicinity of one end of the screw mechanism.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
