PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve safety in a case where an electric brake apparatus fails.SOLUTION: An electric brake apparatus 10 includes at least three control parts, namely: a left front wheel-braking control part 28 for controlling a left front-braking mechanism 20; a right front wheel-controlling part 30 for controlling a right front wheel-braking mechanism 22 and a left-right rear wheel-control part 32 for controlling a left rear wheel-braking mechanism 24 and a right rear wheel-braking mechanism 26. Each of the braking mechanisms 20, 22, 24, 26 includes: a friction-subjective member that rotates with a wheel and a friction member that is moved by power of an electric actuator. These mechanisms acquire braking force individually by pressing the friction member onto the friction-subjective member.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
