A temperature control system and an electric heater 4 keeps a lithium secondary battery unit 3 warm using a manganese oxide electrode as the main power source. Also as auxiliary power source, a solar battery, fuel cell 9 or non-lithium-based secondary battery 11 is used. A negative pole of this laminated type lithium ion secondary battery contains a compound metal oxide with tin oxide as a main active material to which lithium can be inserted, and its positive pole contains a spinel type lithium manganese oxide as the main active material, and its electrolyte is a solid electrolyte containing high molecular ion conductor or inorganic ion conductor.
