Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle control system which can deal with a case where something collides against a vehicle under charging.SOLUTION: The vehicle control system 1 controlling a vehicle V which is driven by operating an electric apparatus with a power of a storage battery 31 charged by a power from an external charging facility includes a charging detector which detects whether the storage battery is under charging or not, a collision detector which detects the existence of collision against the vehicle, and a controller which controls charging and discharging of the storage battery. When the charging detector detects that the storage battery is under charging and the collision detector detects collision, the controller controls a switch 60 to interrupt the primary circuit having the storage battery 31 and the secondary circuit having the electric apparatus.
