Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique of checking whether there is anomaly in a current sensor measuring input/output currents of a battery by using a configuration specific to an electric vehicle which can be charged from the outside.SOLUTION: This electric vehicle 100 includes a battery 5, a first current sensor 6 measuring input/output currents of the battery 5, a second current sensor 35 measuring an output current of a charger 34, and a controller 4 checking states of the first and second current sensors. The controller 4 carries out the following processes. First, a difference between a measurement of the first current sensor and a measurement of the second current sensor is calculated. Next, if the difference is larger than a predetermined difference threshold for a time longer than a predetermined time threshold, another electric device connected between the first current sensor and the second current sensor is stopped. If a difference of the measurements thereafter is larger than the difference threshold, data indicating anomaly of a current sensor is output to at least one of a display device or a memory.
