PURPOSE: To perform program operation of a demonstration mode through simple operation and to start operation to display demonstration by a display means by a method wherein a demonstration mode discriminating means to discriminate that set operation of an operation means during a specified time starting from turning ON of a power source to an operation means is a demonstration mode is provided, and a demonstration display operation means is operated by set operation of an operation means.

CONSTITUTION: When an operation means 12 for a suction hose 5 connected to a cleaner body is operated within a specified time starting from turning ON of a power source to a control means 30, a demonstration mode discriminating means 71 of the control means 30 discriminates it as a demonstration mode. The control means 30 actuates a demonstration display automatic operation means 70, and a display means 44 is operated in a step of a prestored display content to perform demonstration display. When operation of the operation means 12 is not operated within a specified time starting from turning ON of the power source to the control means 30, an input to an electric blower 2 is set to set characteristics and the electric blower 2 is driven by means of a set output. The display means 44 displays an amount to be reported, e.g. a control amount of the output of the electric blower 2, a detecting amount of the pressure or the airflow of suction and exhaust passages, a refuse amount of a dust collecting part, according to the output stage of the electric blower 2.
