An electromagnetic clutch 84 is positioned to a prescribed position on a shaft 80 by inserting the shaft 80 into the clutch 84 and fitting an E-ring 98 in a groove 96. An electrical connection is established by bringing the crest section of a contacting terminal 104 provided on a drive printed wiring board 50 into contact with the conductive pattern of a terminal printed wiring board 86. Since the electrical connecting work of the electromagnetic clutch 84 ends by only fixing the shaft 80 by inserting the shaft 80 into the clutch 84, the workability of the connecting work is improved. In addition, since no harness is used, the problem which is raised by a harness in the conventional method can be eliminated.
