To provide an electric component storage structure and a lighting fixture, capable of preventing excessive increase of internal pressure of a storage section in spite of any trouble of an electric component while securing waterproofing performance.
The electric component storage structure includes the electric component 9b including a capacitor C, the storage section 11a for storing the electric component 9b, a power supply line lead-out hole 11c formed on the storage section 11a, an external form section forming a boundary dimension larger than the power supply line lead-out hole 11c, and a power supply line inserting hole 15a for inserting a power supply line. In the electric component storage structure, the external form section blocks the power supply line lead-out hole 11c by being press-fit into a formation section of the power supply line lead-out hole 11c, and the power supply line inserting hole 15a is provided with a blocking body 15 formed to shrink its diameter when the external form section is press-fitted into a formation section of the power supply line lead-out hole 11c.
