Abstract:
To provide an electric compressor in which the reaching of water a housing can be suppressed and furthermore degradation of noise reduction effect caused by a noise insulation cover can be suppressed.SOLUTION: An electric compressor 10 comprises a compression unit 30, an electric motor 40, a housing 20 and a noise insulation cover 60. The noise insulation cover 60 is constituted of a plurality of layers including a first layer 70 laminated on the housing 20, and a second layer 80 laminated on the first layer 70. The first layer 70 is constituted of a first split body 71 and a second split body 72. The second layer 80 is constituted of a first split body 81 and a second split body 82. The first split bodies 71, 81 are arranged above boundary portions 73, 83. The second split bodies 72, 82 are arranged below the boundary portions 73, 83. The boundary portion 73 of the first layer 70 as a second selection layer 92 is located upward of the boundary portion 83 of the second layer 80 as a first selection layer 91.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
