Abstract:
To provide an electric compressor capable of minimizing whirling in a centrifugal direction, of a rotating shaft having at least a pair of impellers.SOLUTION: An electric compressor 1 includes a rotating shaft 40, a pair of impellers 10:20 mounted on the rotating shaft 40, a motor 30 disposed between the impellers 10, 20 of the pair of impellers 10:20, and rotating the rotating shaft 40, primary bearings 50 respectively disposed between each of the impellers 10, 20 of the pair of impellers 10:20 and the motor 30, and rotatably supporting the rotating shaft 40, and secondary bearings 60 disposed at an end portion side of the rotating shaft 40 with respect to the primary bearings 50 in a state of having a clearance to a peripheral face of the rotating shaft 40, and brought into contact with the rotating shaft 40 to rotatably support the rotating shaft 40 when whirling occurs on the rotating shaft 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
