To provide a compact and functional electric connecting jack.

This electric connecting jack has a front housing 12, back housing 13 and a housing insert 14, and these members are assembled with an electric lead 18. A shield 17 is covered on this assembly unit, to electrically shield it, and a unit of the jack is connected to a proper printed board. A ferrite member formed as a ferrite sleeve 16 or ferrite block is received in the back housing 13, so as to make the lead 18 pass through. Consequently, an unnecessary frequency component is removed from a signal of the lead 18. Thus, a compact electric connecting jack is formed.
