To provide a simple and efficient square connector for a coaxial cable.

This connector has at least a pair of square coaxial conductors 28, 30 having the first and the second legs 32, 34 respectively joined with elbows 36. Tips 32a of the first support legs 32 respectively determine a contact end of each conductor. Tips 34 a of the second support legs 34 respectively determine a terminal to be mounted on a printed circuit board. A dielectric sheath 26 is arranged in the circumference of each square coaxial conductor with the tip of the coaxial conductor exposed. Tubular conductive shields 14, 38 are installed in the circumference of respective dielectric sheaths. Grounding means 18, 60 are made to join shields with the printed circuit board. An integrated dielectric housing 16 is arranged in the circumference of at least a part 38 of the shields 14, 38 in order to retain the connector within a module.
