PURPOSE: To provide an electric connector fitted with a protection cover which securely fixes protection cover on a housing and improves the operability of the protection cover at removal of the connector.

CONSTITUTION: An electric connector 30 is formed by fitting a terminal guard 32 being a plate-shaped protection cover in an opening 34 provided on one side of a housing 31 where a connector terminal 35 is fitted in a terminal storage chamber 33. A guide groove 36 for fitting in the terminal guard 32 slidably is made at the side margin of the opening 34. On the other hand, a pair of flexible dogleg spring arms 38 are provided integrally at the side end face of the cover body 37 of the terminal guide 32 as a protection cover, and locking projections 37a to be fitted in the guide grooves 36 are formed at both opposite side margins.
