Abstract:
PURPOSE: To directly detect fitting connection of one electrical connector and the other electrical connector to each other with a lock mechanism of an engaging body and a lock body, which secure the fitting of one connector and the other connector to each other. CONSTITUTION: An electrical connector 1 is provided with a pair of fitting detecting pins 14, 15 continued to a fitting detecting circuit. On the other hand, a lock body 33 itself of the other electrical connector 2 to be engaged with an engaging body 11, which is formed in a housing 3 of the electrical connector 1, when the connector 2 is fitted to the connector 1 for connection is provided with a connecting conductor 34 for short circuit, which forms a short-circuit between the pair of fitting detecting pins 14, 15 of the connector 1.
