To perform the perfect contact of a switch element by constituting the fixed contact piece of the switch element from a main shaft part piercing both sides of a loading part and an elastic L-shaped contact piece protruded from the center of the main shaft part, and providing a partially circular contact part orthogonal to the L-shaped contact piece on a movable contact piece.

In the loading part 40 of a switch element, the main shaft part of a fixed contact piece 64 is provided through the mold wall of the loading part 40, and has protruding parts (contact pads) 50, 52 making contact with mutually opposed areas A, B of a base 22. Further, a substantially L-shaped protruding part 48 is provided in the center of the main shaft part, and this part forms a satisfactory electric contact in cooperation with the contact part of a movable contact piece 42. When the movable contact piece 42 is mechanically pressed by an IC card, the partially cylindrical contact part of the movable contact piece 42 crosses the L-shaped protruding part 48 orthogonally and makes point contact therewith, and since the connecting part to the fixed contact part of the L-shaped protruding part 48 has sufficient elasticity, the contact following property of the contact can be ensured.
