At a conductive member made of a conductive contact 12 or a shield shell 13 attached on a body housing 11, a pair of first contact parts 12c1, 13a2, and second contact parts 12b3, 13b2 in contact with both front and rear sides of a flat cable F are provided. The first contact parts 12c1, 13a2 and the second contact parts 12b3, 13b2 are pressure-welded onto the front and rear surfaces of the flat cable F, respectively, by biasing force of first rocking arm parts 12c, 13a1 and second rocking arm parts 12b, 13b1, even if connection pad parts (a signal contact and a grounding contact) are provided on both the front and rear sides of the flat cable F, both or either the first contact parts 12c1, 13a2 and the second contact parts 12b3, 13b2 fitted on the conductive contact 12 or the shield shell 13 can be connected.
