Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector capable of preventing deformation or impairment of a molding component for molding the housing, while avoiding strength reduction of a lance release jig.SOLUTION: An electric connector 100 includes a housing 10 formed of an insulating material, and a conductive terminal 20 inserted into a terminal housing space 11 provided therein. The conductive terminal 20 has a sheath 21 provided on the distal end side, and a core wire crimping portion 22 provided on the proximal end side, and a terminal engaging part 24 projecting to the shaft center 21c side is formed on the distal end side of the sheath 21. A lance 12 projecting toward the shaft center 11c and engageable and disengageable with the terminal engaging part 24 of the conductive terminal 20, and an elastic support 13 for supporting the lance 12 elastically displaceably are provided in the housing 10. A pair of terminal supports 15 and 15 which can be brought into contact with the sheath 21 of the conductive terminal 20 are provided at the positions facing each other in the horizontal direction with a release jig, which is to be inserted into a jig insertion path 14, therebetween.
