Abstract:
To provide an electric connector capable of securing a sufficient fitting length between contacts contacting each other.SOLUTION: An electric connector 10 comprises: a first connector 20 and a second connector 40; and a lock member 60 which is held in a swingable state by a first housing 22 of the first connector, and couples the first housing 22 and a second housing 42 to each other when swung in a first swing direction, and decouples the first housing 22 and second housing 42 from each other when swung in a second swing direction. The second housing 42 has an abutting part 428 which is pressed by the lock member 60 when the lock member 60 is swung in the second swing direction to move the first connector 20 away from the second connector 40, and the abutting part 428 is located above the center X of swinging of the lock member 60 in an upward direction from the second connector 40 to the first connector 20 in a connection completion state between the first connector 20 and second connector 40.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 15
