Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric connector prevented, by a simple structure without using a mechanical locking method with a coming-off prevention member, from being easily carelessly disconnected when plugged in an electric outlet.
SOLUTION: This electric connector is equipped with: a pair of electric connection terminals 1 and 2 plugged into the electric outlet; a first terminal support 3 and a second terminal support 4 for supporting a pair of the connection terminals 1 and 2, respectively; a support mechanism for supporting the first and second supports 3 and 4 to body covers 6 and 7 rotatably, from a first position to a second position, around an axis X along a direction for arranging a pair of the connection terminals 1 and 2; and a width increasing mechanism for increasing the width between a pair of the connection terminals 1 and 2 by rotating the first and second supports 3 and 4 from the first position to the second position.
