To reduce electromagnetic repulsion acting on a movable contact so as to maintain an excellent contact state without increasing a spring load of the movable contact by constituting a shape of a fixed contact part of a fixed contact or a terminal part so that an angle formed by an electric current passage in the fixed contact in the vicinity of the fixed contact part and an electric current passage in the movable contact in the vicinity of a movable contact part falls within a range of a specific angle.
In an electric contact device 9, a first fixed contact 91 having a terminal part 911 and a fixed contact part 912 and a second fixed contact 92 having similarly a terminal part 921 and a fixed contact part 922, are arranged above and below at an interval of a distance H on a concentric circle in a cylindrical support 2. An excellent contact state can be maintained by reducing electromagnetic repulsion acting on a movable contact 93 at electric current flowing time by constituting a shape of the fixed contacts 91 and 92 or the movable contact 93 so that a relative angle of an electric current passage in the fixed contact 91 and an electric current passage in the movable contact 93 becomes 100 degrees to 180 degrees.
