Abstract:
To provide an electric drive type hydrofoil for coupling a board for raising the board out of the water in a progress motion.SOLUTION: One driving module (10), an electric battery and a motor-driven propulsion device coupled to one portion of a hydrofoil (2) while still sunken in water during a progress motion as an autonomous unit is capable of being provided with the electric drive device to a conventional board without needing change of the board or deformation of the hydrofoil. There is no need to provide an electrical connection between the propulsion device and the electric battery since the battery is capable of being arranged in the driving module. Therefore, the drive module is capable of forming the autonomous unit and the autonomous unit is attached to the hydrofoil, detached from the hydrofoil, or completely separated from the hydrofoil according to the need.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
