Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an electric drive vehicle to run as an operator wishes based on the present storage remaining amount in an electrical storage device.SOLUTION: The electric drive vehicle includes: an electrical storage device; a power generation device; a drive motor; an energy consumption computing processing means to compute consumption energy required for making the electric drive vehicle run; a residual energy computing processing means to compute residual energy remaining in the electrical storage device; a running propriety determination processing means to determine whether the electric drive vehicle can be made to run as the operator wishes, based on the energy consumption and residual energy; and a running method guide processing means to show the running method of the electric drive vehicle. Since whether the electric drive vehicle can be made to run is determined based on the energy consumption and residual energy, the electric drive vehicle can be made to run as the operator wishes.
