Abstract:
To provide an electric dust collector which has high dust collecting efficiency by an electrically simple system and can suppress discharge outside an unit.
A charging section is constituted of an acicular discharge electrode 2, a first earth electrode 3 and a second earth electrode 4, a dust collecting section is constituted of a dust collecting filter 5 and further a first shielding plate 18 is disposed above the acicular discharge electrode 2. Fine particles are efficiently electrified by corona discharge at the charging section and the dust is collected by the dust collecting filter 5 with high efficiency. Further discharge outside the dust collecting unit 1 is suppressed by the first shielding plate 18.
