Abstract:
To provide a new electric element using the property of a polymer actuator.
This is an electric element for relay in which a fixed contact 12 and a movable contact 14 are arranged opposed to each other. A polymer actuator 16 which is formed into a film body applied with movable treatment, pushes the movable contact 14 when DC voltage is impressed and returns to the original shape when the DC voltage is cut off, and thereby electrically contacts and separates the fixed contact 12 and the movable contact 14, is provided.
