To provide an electric fan device for a vehicle capable of stably securing the required cooling quantity even if an abnormality occurs in one of fans and the number of rotation of that fan does not reach the set number of rotation.
This electric fan device 1 for a vehicle is provided with two fans F1 and F2 respectively loaded with a fan motor, two switch elements T1 and T2 for controlling the current flowing to each fan F1 and F2, two current detecting sensors 4a and 4b for detecting a current value of the current flowing in each fans F1 and F2, and a control circuit 11 for detecting the rotating condition of each fan F1 and F2 on the basis of a result of the detection by each current detecting sensor 4a and 4b and for controlling the switch element T1 and T2 to stop the rotation of one of the fans F1 and F2 and to increase the number of rotation of the other fan F2 or F1 by the set number of rotation of the fan F1 or F2 when the number of rotation of one of the fans F1 and F2 becomes lower than the set number of rotation.
