The electric fan includes a propeller for air blast and a motor provided with a rotating shaft projecting from a motor body, in which the rotating shaft is fixed to a fixed member, the propeller is fixed to the motor body and the dye-sensitization solar battery is provided on blades of the propeller. The dye-sensitization solar battery generating electric power for rotating the propeller is equipped on the propeller and therefore the device can be made compact. Since the propeller is fixed to the motor body, the relative position of the dye-sensitization solar battery and the motor body does not vary during rotation of the motor and electric connection between the dye-sensitization solar battery and the motor can be made simply.
