Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To adjust blades in a state of facing a predetermined direction of a vertical direction and/or horizontal direction, in an electric fan which can be used in both an electric fan mode and an agitation mode.SOLUTION: An electric fan (100) includes: blades (1); a motor (2) for blades for rotating the blades (1); a vertically oscillating motor (12) for oscillating the blades (1) in a vertical direction; a horizontally oscillating motor (22) for oscillating the blades (1) in a horizontal direction; a vertical direction detection mechanism for detecting that the blades (1) are facing a predetermined direction in the vertical direction; and a horizontal direction detection mechanism for detecting that the blades (1) are facing a predetermined direction in the horizontal direction. By using at least one of the vertical direction detection mechanism and the horizontal direction detection mechanism, at least one of the vertically oscillating motor (12) and the horizontally oscillating motor (22) are controlled so that the blades (1) face at least one of the predetermined directions of the predetermined direction in the vertical direction and the predetermined direction in the horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
