PURPOSE: To uniformize room temperature by carrying out driving control of an electric fan according to the sensing of a heating source.

CONSTITUTION: A control circuit 6 enclosed in an electric fan receives an operation signal from a switch circuit 7, on the one hand, it receives a heating source signal from an infrared radiation sensor 4. When the heating source signal is equal to or larger than a prescribed value, the control circuit 6 detects the occurrence of a heating source, and blows air by driving an air blowing motor 10 through an air blowing motor driving circuit 8 according to this detected signal, and oscillates the electric fan by driving a laterally oscillating motor 11 through an oscillating motor driving circuit 9.
