PURPOSE: To improve safety, by a method wherein an oscillation center regulating body is rotated by a drive motor device, mounted to a neck piece so that the oscillation center regulating body, to which the one end of an oscillation link is pivotally supported, is rotated around a pivot.

CONSTITUTION: An oscillation center regulating body 20 is rotated around a neck piece 4, aud a pivot 5 is rotatable around the oscillation center regulating body 20 and a neck piece 4. An oscillation link 18 is pivotally supported to a stem part 41 of the oscillation center regulating body 20, and the oscillation center regulating body 20 is reciprocatively driven by means of a motor 26. Since variation of an oscillation center by an oscillation device 11 and variation of a blast direction are carried out with the aid of the motor 26 and the variation is not effected by means of an electric fan body 1, safety is improved.
